You will read so many dos and dont’s about eating while you are breastfeeding. The short answer is to avoid hot spicy food, garlic, chocolate and fizzy drinks. Also avoid shark, swordfish or marlin as they have high levels of mercury. No more than one glass of wine daily and avoid caffeine if possible, drinking no more than two cups of tea or coffee a day.
